Danuta Antas Wozniewska - Fine Artist
Danuta Antas-WoŸniewska – born in 1961, lives in Poland. Graphic artist, photographer, English philologist. Danuta’s ties with Art have always been very close. In her youth, she attended to Fine Art Secondary School.
She has graduated in Fine Arts and Art Education from Nicolaus Copernicus University of Toruñ with MA degree, both in graphic arts and art education, specializing in intaglio techniques. She has also a BA in English Philology from Adam Mickiewicz University of Poznañ, specializing in English Language Teaching and she has also obtained an MA in English Philology, specializing in British Cultural Studies. For nearly 20 years, Danuta has worked as an Art and English teacher, working with students at all levels.
She owes her love and passion to Art and nature to her parents and daughter, who nourished her imagination and encouraged to develop her creativity. In 2007, she left teaching profession to devote exclusively to Art, taking main interest in digital photography. Since then, she works as a freelance photographer and graphic designer. She also runs on-line art gallery at www.deartegallery.com to promote nature lover artists around the world and to create art environment emanating with positive energy.
In the course of extensive self-study and long years of work as a teacher, Danuta has gained a wide experience and knowledge, as well as a deep insight into human nature. She is focused on identity issues and the impact of culture on human nature and on human spirituality. Danuta has completed Reiki courses I and II but the greatest impact on her artistic and spiritual life, she acknowledges to Vedic Art workshops she participated in 2006.
As she says herself, her philosophy of life is based on balance between the three human dimensions Body – Spirit – Mind and this is reflected in her fine art photography.
